Christmas at Fenway Offers Sox Pax and Sox Savers in April in May;
Spring Training Tickets Set Record for First Weekend Sales;
Start Times Set for 2014 Games at Fenway Park
BOSTON, MA – Red Sox fans will have their first opportunity to purchase tickets to games at Fenway Park this Saturday when select tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. at redsox.com. Fans will have the opportunity to purchase the popular “Sox Pax” as well as tickets to individual games in April and May. The club also released start times for 2014 games at Fenway Park (attached).
This Saturday, fans who were selected to attend Christmas at Fenway will have the opportunity to purchase tickets in person at a ballpark festival. All fans, however, can purchase tickets via redsox.com and by phone at 888-REDSOX6.
“Sox Pax,” presented by MasterCard, are 12 packs of four games with a variety of game and seat options, including Interleague games, summer weekend games, and matchups against the New York Yankees. Single-game tickets will include all April and May home games with the exceptions of Opening Day, Patriots Day, and Yankees games.
Additionally, “Sox Saver” games will be offered as part of this sale. These select April and May games will be offered at special reduced prices ranging from 8 to 50 percent off the base price as a result of the new variable pricing structure.
Tickets to Red Sox’ Spring Training games at JetBlue Park at Fenway South went on sale Saturday and set a club record. Six of the 16 dates sold out – including standing room. Fans purchased 35,211 tickets, the highest in Red Sox Spring Training history for First Weekend Sales.
“We are extremely grateful for the passionate support Red Sox fans continue to show year after year,” said Red Sox President/CEO Larry Lucchino. “Last weekend’s Spring Training ticket sales record at JetBlue Park suggests that Red Sox tickets for Fenway Park will again be extremely popular in 2014, and are likely to sell early.”
“Sox Pax” will be available online at redsox.com and at the 11th Annual Christmas at Fenway event held from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Fenway Park. There will be a limit of three “Sox Pax” of up to four tickets each per person.
For individual game tickets, fans can purchase up to 12 tickets per transaction online at redsox.com, by phone at 888-REDSOX6, and at the 11th Annual Christmas at Fenway event. MasterCard is the preferred card of the Boston Red Sox.
Individual game tickets are versus the Brewers, April 5-6; the Rangers, April 7-9; the Orioles, April 18-20; the Rays, April 29-30, May 1; the A’s, May 2-4; the Reds, May 6-7; the Tigers, May 16-18; and the Blue Jays, May 20-22.

The annual Christmas at Fenway event gives randomly selected fans from a pool of registrants a chance to enjoy holiday festivities at the ballpark and guarantees the opportunity to purchase tickets for the 2014 season.
Christmas at Fenway will include discussions with Red Sox officials and current players, as well as autograph sessions with alumni. Attendees will be randomly selected throughout the day for special prizes and giveaway experiences.
