BOSTON, MA – The NHL announced today that Tyler Seguin has been named the NHL’s First Star of the Week, for the week ending November 13. Detroit’s Jimmy Howard was named the Second Star while Jonathan Towes of Chicago was named the Third Star.

In three games during the week, the 19-year-old Seguin had four goals and two assists and finished plus-4. He currently has goals in four straight games and points in six straight. Seguin leads the Bruins in goals (11, tied for 2nd in NHL), points (20, 4th overall in NHL) and leads the entire NHL in plus/minus (+14). He has matched his total goal output from all of last season in just 15 games.
