BRUINS PLACE ZAC RINALDO ON IR WITH AN UPPER BODY INJURY
Boston, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, December 15, that the club has placed forward Zac Rinaldo on injured reserve with an upper body injury.
Rinaldo has appeared in 26 games for the Bruins this season with one goal, one assist and 53 penalty minutes. For his NHL career, Rinaldo has skated in 249 games and registered nine goals, 17 assists and 625 penalty minutes with the Bruins and Philadelphia Flyers.
The 25-year-old was acquired by the Bruins from the Flyers on June 29, 2015 for a third round draft pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft.
