BREVARD COUNTY, Florida — A Boston Red Sox pitcher was the victim of an armed carjacking in Florida Friday morning, WCVB’s sister station WESH reports
The incident was reported in Brevard County, and police were eventually able to arrest the suspect in Orange County with the help of a K-9.
Police said Jonathan Gould pointed a gun at the driver of a car in the parking lot of a Cocoa Beach convenience store and ordered him out of the car.
One of the passengers was Red Sox pitcher Brian Johnson, WESH reported.
