CHIPPING IN: Last night’s game marked the 1st time in franchise history that 5 different Red Sox pitchers each recorded 3 or more strikeouts in a single game: Clay Buchholz (3), Chris Capuano (4), Brandon Workman (3), Koji Uehara (3), Junichi Tazawa (3)…The Sox were the 1st ML team to do that since CWS in a 7-3 loss at TOR on 4/15/10 (9 innings).
