Boston Sports Desk is hearing that talks between the NFL Owners and the Players are still moving ahead positively and that the anticipated date of July 4th is still achievable.

Sources have told BSD that if these dates hold up, there will be a 5-week window for free agency and teams to sign draft choices. The pre-season games would then be reduced to two games with the start of the season remaining the same.
