Bruins recall Alexander Khokhlachev

BRUINS RECALL FORWARD ALEXANDER KHOKHLACHEV FROM PROVIDENCE BRUINS; ASSIGN COLIN MILLER TO PROVIDENCE

Boston, MA – Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced today, December 31, that the club has recalled Alexander Khokhlachev from Providence (American Hockey League). Khokhlachev will join Boston for Thursday’s practice at Gillette Stadium. Sweeney also announced that the team has assigned defenseman Colin Miller to Providence.

Khokhlachev was last recalled by Boston on December 16 and has skated in four games with the Bruins this season. In total, Khokhlachev has appeared in eight games for Boston from 2014 to 2015, including his NHL debut on April 13, 2014 against the Devils in New Jersey.

The 22-year-old has skated in 22 games for Providence thus far this season, registering nine goals (tied for third on the team) and 16 assists (second on the team) for 25 points (second on the team).
