Rask is 9-6-3 with a 2.26 GAA and .924 Save % in 19 career games against the Rangers. Lundqvist is 24-12-2 with a 1.95 GAA and .935 Save % in 38 career games against the Bruins.

BRUINS ANNOUNCE UBER AS THE OFFICIAL RIDESHARING PARTNER OF THE BOSTON BRUINS: The Boston Bruins announced today that they have entered a collaborative agreement with Uber, which designates the popular ridesharing app as “the official ridesharing partner of the Boston Bruins”. Highlights of the multi-year partnership include exclusive content and promotion within Bruins newsletter, in-arena signage throughout the concourses & bowl of the TD Garden, and social media integration on various Bruins social networks.

BRUINS ACQUIRE STAFFORD FROM WINNIPEG: Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney announced yesterday, March 1, that the team has acquired forward Drew Stafford from the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for a conditional sixth-round pick in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Stafford, 31, who is in his 11th NHL season in 2016-17, has appeared in 40 games with Winnipeg this season, recording four goals and nine assists for 13 points with 12 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-2, 214-pound forward has skated in 707 career NHL games, compiling 179 goals and 213 assists for 392 points with 375 penalty minutes. He has also appeared in 24 postseason games in his career, posting four goals and five assists for nine points.

STRONG STARTS: The Bruins have now scored a first period goal in 10 straight games, including eight first goals of the game.

LEAGUE LEADERS: Tuukka Rask is third in the NHL in shutouts (6), seventh in the NHL in GAA (2.27) and tied for fifth in the NHL in wins (30). Torey Krug is sixth among NHL defensemen in points (41); Brad Marchand is tied for fourth in the NHL in points (66), tied for seventh in the NHL in goals (28), tied for 11th in the NHL in assists (38) and tied for first in the NHL in shorthanded goals (3); Patrice Bergeron is fifth in the NHL in shots (225) and is tied for third in the NHL in game-winning goals (7). David Pastrnak is tied for 14th in the NHL in goals (26).

MATCHUP HISTORY: The Bruins host the Rangers tonight in the third and final game between these teams and the second of two this season at TD Garden. Boston has lost its last four games against New York, including the first two games of this season’s series. The Bruins have scored more goals against the Rangers than any other opponent.
